Quote Keeper
1.) ''We were going to fight until the last man; there was no surrender''
It is meaningful because it shows how far they were willing to fight the enemy.
Pg. 13
2.) ''I think the first sergents mad at me''
I believe it shows how affraid and scared the lower ranking officers are to the sergent.
Pg. 44
3.) ' I will never forget seeing a hay stack maove at 25 miles per hour.''
It shows how scared the person driving the tank was of the soldiers because when they blew up the tank next to the house.
Pg. 42
One of my favorite quotes was in the prologue. "It was like heaven" "seeing my friends again" the love and the forgetting of a close friend. WAR= HELL and just one smile of a close friend from home is Heaven. Hearing their voice is worth many words and one life time.

ReplyDeleteI thought that when the tanks were in the hay stack it was a clever move. But when they stuck out it they were way to exposed. Thats how they had the advantage on them and that when the tank fled they knew they were victorious. Also the troops were realy scared and thats why i would agree with the 2nd quote.
ReplyDeletei like the last quote the most because i know if i was in that position i would be reallly scared to control the tank because you never know whats gonna happen.
